Two heads, two sets of claws, one box. Iron Studios' Wolverine Legacy Replica 1/4 gives you four distinct display configurations from a single purchase — masked with adamantium, masked with bone, unmasked with adamantium, unmasked with bone. At 37.5cm, 13kg, and a forest-floor diorama complete with Sentinel wreckage and an X-23 canister, this is the most configurable Wolverine statue Iron Studios has produced.
You Don't Choose Between Masked and Unmasked. You Get Both.
The Wolverine Legacy Replica 1/4 ships with two finished head sculpts. Not variants. Not prototypes. Two complete, independently finished heads at full Legacy Replica resolution.
The Masked Head — Yellow cowl, black upward-sweeping fins, solid white eye lenses. The lower face exposed: jaw, chin, mutton-chop sideburns, five-o'clock shadow rendered with individual stubble dots. This is the icon — the Wolverine that even non-comics fans recognize.
The Unmasked Head — Full face visible. Blue eyes under a heavy brow, vertical scar through the right eyebrow, deep nasolabial folds, lips pulled back over clenched teeth. Wing-swept black hair with blue-grey strand highlights. This is the weapon — Logan between targets, not posing for the team photo.
Both heads are finished to the same standard. The unmasked sculpt gets additional skin detail — pores, fine wrinkles at the eye corners, mottled flesh tones across the cheeks — that only becomes paintable at 1/4 scale. The masked head gets its own treatment: the cowl's yellow matches the suit's hexagonal texture, and the white lenses have a slight translucency that reads as quartz rather than flat paint.

Two Claw Sets Cover Two Eras of the Character
The hands swap too. Two configurations:
Adamantium Claws — Three polished chrome-metallic blades per hand. High-gloss finish that catches display lighting. The bonded metal. The signature since the 1970s.
Bone Claws — Three off-white, porous, organic blades per hand. Matte finish with visible longitudinal striations that read as natural bone. This set references the period after Magneto ripped the adamantium from Logan's skeleton — when the metal was gone but the claws remained, because the claws were always bone first.
Both sets attach to the same blue segmented gauntlets: padded knuckles, ribbed forearm texture, silver weathering along the edges. The knuckle structure is visible through the glove — you can see the fist tension even through sculpted armor.
Four display combinations from one box. Masked + adamantium. Masked + bone. Unmasked + adamantium. Unmasked + bone. Four different emotional reads of the same figure.

The Suit: Three Texture Treatments in One Sculpt
Iron Studios didn't paint a flat yellow suit. The Wolverine Legacy Replica uses at least three distinct surface treatments:
Hex-mesh tactical panels — Side panels and lower torso. Recessed honeycomb pattern simulating ballistic fabric. Each hex cell individually sculpted, catching shadow in the recesses and highlight on the raised edges.
Smooth leather-textured panels — Main chest and upper back. Subtle stretch-texture simulating a different armor layer.
Metallic armor plating — Blue pauldrons, knee pads, boot armor. Semi-gloss metallic treatment simulating painted metal, then hand-painted silver chips at the edges, directional scratch marks, and dark grime deposits around rivets.

Three black tiger-stripes run vertically down the ribs — matte black against mustard-toned yellow, clean-edged, symmetrical. The red utility belt has a rectangular buckle with the X-Men emblem (black X on red field, silver-edged) with silver metallic weathering across its raised surfaces.
The bare arms go further: realistic tan with reddish undertones, visible veins (sculpted, then painted), fine hair texture, pore-level detail. At 1/4 scale, these arms are large enough for individual paint applications rather than suggested musculature.
The Base: A Scene With Its Own Story
Wolverine stands on a forest floor — brown earth, moss-covered rocks, green ferns, a simulated water effect. But Iron Studios embedded wreckage throughout:
Sentinel remains — Rusted dark-grey mechanical debris scattered across the forest floor. Tank tread sections. Armored plating with geometric patterns. Robotic sensor clusters. The mutant-hunting machine that has been Wolverine's most consistent enemy since X-Men #1.
The X-23 canister — A shattered incubation canister, clearly labeled "X-23" in industrial block lettering, with moss and ferns growing through the broken glass. A direct reference to Laura Kinney — Wolverine's clone, daughter figure, and eventual inheritor of the mantle.

Wolverine's positioning reads as mid-engagement: right foot on mossy rock, left foot back on mechanical wreckage, torso angled forward, one arm extended back with claws deployed, the other pulled in. Weight forward, teeth bared. Dynamic even at 13 kilograms of stillness.

Secure the Pre-Order
This piece carries Marvel's "Pending Approval" stamp — the manufacturer is awaiting final licensor sign-off. The sculpts and renders shown are pre-production; minor adjustments may occur before the final cast.
Pre-ordering locks in both the price and the allocation. For limited-production Legacy Replica pieces at 1/4 scale, sell-through is typically fast once general retail availability goes live.
